Hi Luciano,
Just wondering if you could describe the differences in the new M-ZERO HQ Wi-Fi compared with the non-HQ version?
I assume it has high-resolution stepper motors - if so, how well do they improve tracking performance?
Are there any other improvements e.g. improved wifi antennae, extra USB ports etc?
Thanks.

Hi,

I am about to purchase a M-Zero, and had the same question.

Also worried about the support of the firmware/software in the future on this special edition, as the installed park must be higher for the normal version.

Plus : I read in the Welcome message, that some news about the mounts are to come. Are we expecting discontinued models, or new models with different Payload capacity and portability ?

Thanks,
Stevan Klaas

@ jgoodjer: The M-zero HQ current red version, that is the only one now available ( the blue version was a 10 pcs. Limited Edition) , uses the 400 steps stepper motor version that allows a better tracking resolution that is helpful for the imaging use, expecially with long focal length
The M-zero HQ comes with the Dual Dec adapter already installed ( within the price )

@ SJK: The StarGO Hardware is stable from the beginning ( 8 years ago) and the firmware update ( a new update will be released very soon) can be updated on the same 8 years old boards, so don't be worried about the StarGO dismission ....there is so much time invested that we would be crazy if we change something
At the moment there are no mount models to be discontinued in our plans
Some news :
- Within the next few days it will be possible to buy the M-zero with no tripod, no cordura bag, no polar finder ,no polar finder support ..... a "naked" version at a more affordable price that can be upgraded step by step
- Within the next few months there will be news about the M-tre
- A new M-due mount is on the project list for the next year, it will be a medium size mount version, specifically designed for the observatory or the fixed location use
So .... stay tuned !!:)

Hi again,

I now understand the HQ red model being different from the blue.

I tried to purchase it from your site but living in Switzerland I should not be paying VAT, your site seems to not understand that.

How could I proceed ?

Thanks a lot,
Stevan Klaas
