Question StarGo Disconnects When Using X-SOLVER

Hello. The StarGo / EAGLE3, USB connection is frequently dropped when trying to use X-SOLVER. Typically, a polar alignment analysis can not be completed due to StarGo disconnects. The StarGo / EAGLE3, USB connection is typically reliable if X-SOLVER is not being used. Has anyone experienced this behavior? Is anyone using X-SOLVER successfully? Thanks for your time, /jim

Such disconnection behaviour may be connected to the administrator privileges settings.

Try to check if the X-solver run with the same administrator privileges of the StarGo software (see attachment, in our case works fine with both tools "without administrator privileges").

However, are you using the X-solver for Polar Align? Just to understand if is an issue connected to the X-solver, did you try to use an alternative method such as the PHD2 drift align tool?

Below you can see a tutorial made from an Avalon user about this tool with the StarGo.exe, that shows how to easily perform the Polar Alignment adjustment.
