Solved Windows 11 update and connection to Star Go stops working

Hi, just an info share. I use a Star Go system with Win11. Yesterday Microsoft rolled out a security update, as a result, Star Go could not connect anymore through the USB port. If you have the same problem, roll back the Windows Update to before March 9, 2022 and all will start working again.....thanks Bill! :D

Hello

In our tests the StarGo software works fine with Win11 and we didn’t find yet connection issues.

When the operative system cannot connect to the StarGo through the USB port, before to roll back to the previous operative system version, in order to restore the correct functionality, is suggested to perform a full system restart, switching off the power from the StarGo board and restarting the PC as well.

In case after the restart, the connection has not yet been restored, phisically unplug the USB cable and plug in again, better if in a different USB port.
