Erratics errors in StarGo software was created by nirvana
Example of erratic error:
Today procedure:
1. Power on Stargo.
2. The system indicates System is not Aligned.
3. I go to Tab "Align" and click "Sync Home Position".
4. I set Home position as park point. I go to random coordinates and click "Park"". The mount is parked correctly. I disconnect StarGo software.
5. I power on Stargo software again.
6. The system indicates System is not Aligned (curiosity: SINGLE STAR is selected when normally MULTISTAR is selected by me. 3STAR option that normally don't appear is there). Alternately appears a pop up with message WARNING! INTERNAL STARGO MISMATCH LOCATION OVERWRITE WITH "OBSERVATORY LACATION NOW?
7. I select CANCEL.
8. I click Sync Home Position.
9. StarGo remains Syncing... for ever.
10. The only way to eliminate this error is power off the controller.

Is not the first time that this error happen to me.

StarGo ver. 7.0.3
Firmware Ver. 7.0.0
Ascom Driver 7.0.0.32
Connected Mount Type: Losmandy HQ
Axis mode: Equatorial

Really tired of having errors.

Hello

By reading the procedure followed, there are some unnecessary step performed.

For example, after the Unpark, is not required another Sync Home Position, since the mount, during the Park, retain the Sky alignment and will recover the position in the next session, even after a power off shutdown.

Furthermore, choose a Park Position in the same of the Sync Home Position is not suggested, for this purpose it is better to select another position or move the mount just a little bit away from the Celestial Pole pointing.

We list below the correct Park procedure workflow

Park Procedure

1. Run the StarGo.exe
2. Perform the Sync Home Position
3. Perform a GoTo or Move the mount on the choosen position for the Park
4. Click on the “Set Park” button to choose the position for the Park.
5. Start the session and point the mount to other objects
6. At the end of the session click on the “Park” button. The mount will slew to the position choosen through the “Set Park” function, retaining it in the next session, even after a shutdown.
NOTE: this mean that in the next session another Sync Home Position is not required.
7. Close the StarGo.exe and Power off the mount.

At this point, in the next session, after the system power on, the mount will be in Park status. When the mount will be Unparked, the system will recover the Sky alignment, by opening any kind of planetary software, the pointer will show the park position previously choosen.

At the following link it is possible to see a video tutorial that shows the whole procedure.

The system indicates that is not aligned. This is not a procedure of mine.
I do not understand why my park point cannot be my home position? Why? I want to park my mount there. It should be like as other park position.
Anyway, this type of errors have been appearing at random situations.
