I designed and built a handy tray for accessories that fits on top of the leg braces of the TPOD. It is 19" (48 cm) in diameter, cut from a 1/8" (3 mm) thick aluminum sheet. In order for the tray to fit, it is necessary to cut it in half and connect the halves with a hinge. It is also possible to put brackets on the bottom of the tray so that it can be secured to the existing holes in the TPOD leg braces. See the attached photos. I cut some 1.25" and 2" holes for eyepieces, and left half of the tray solid for other accessories such as cameras or binoviewer.Email me for further info.Stefano--Avalon might want to consider selling this kind of tray with the TPODs.
