Question Requesting Full LX200 compatibility

ASIAR and INDIGO fully support the LX200 protocol for the control of many compatible telescopes & mounts.

The StarGO2 controller provides only very limited support for this protocol and drivers. E.g. guiding commands are currently not supported.

Basically, all currently available strain-wave-gear mounts allow full compatibility with this protocol or an equivalent protocol with the full INDI command set (e.g. onstep drivers).

I would highly appreciate, if Avalon Instruments could provide equivalent compatibility and drivers.

I just saw the new StarGO2 Plus. Looks nice.

The firmware number is 2.0…2023…  Does this mean, we can expect an update for the StarGO2 Pro firmware as well?

Any news on how to fully connect the ASIAIR via the LX200 or ONSTEP protocol?

I think with the StarGO PLUS being out, a proper ASIAIR connection/interface is becoming mandatory for any mount manufacturer.

I have been trying StellarMate and other options… just not the same as the ASIAIR.
