Hi,
A new version of Stellarium (0.19.2.17229) with direct ASCOM support is presently in beta test.

Using this long expected upgrade of Stellarium it should be possible to connect StarGo directly to Stellarium without using the StellariumScope interface. StellariumScope is a very old code, and is no longer manteined. I’m interested to know if the new Stellarium version has been already tested with StarGo.

Hi,
We tested this Ascom Stellarium version today, the connection and the GoTo works well.
We will perfom more tests ......
Just remember to give the Administrator privileges to the exe file ....

The direct ASCOM support has been integrated in the beta version of Stellarium which may be downloaded from
github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-data/releases/tag/beta

The beta testing has been successfully completed and the new official release of Stellarium 0.19.3 now includes the direct ASCOM support for telescopes (Windows version only). StellariumScope may be discarded and StarGo may be directly connected to Stellarium.
