Question ST4 Enabled Checkbox

Hello. I have a new M-Zero mount that is giving me a headache. The drift in RA is really quite wild. Two images separated by 60 seconds show almost 8 arcsecs in drift (in attachment), despite a very good, if not excellent polar alignment. The camera is aligned to north. Guiding is at a default 0.5, and I am using an OAG with a SBIG STi (tried binned and unbinned). I have tried auto tracking adjust with no change. I am using PulseGuide to guide the mount, so should the ST4 checkbox be checked or unchecked? Thanks. Martin

I'm sorry an Avalon representative has not responded. Some time ago, an Avalon representative (Stefano) told me customers should request assistance via the CONTACT US web page. That worked well for me. Avalon seemingly views the Forums as the vehicle for users to exchange information. By the way, I do not know the answer to your question. i ve the m-zero for a year and i have the same problem, it s always drifiting, but it s a problem on all avalon mount, the m uno and linear. ITs better since the autoadjustement but not perfect yet The best way i found is to adjust the tracking speed slider manually, i . i watch the drift and i try to find the best number..but it often changes and it s not predictible
