When using the SkySafari INDI driver / interface on the StarGO2 Pro, it inverts DEC values between -1° and 0°. The values become positive and the mount slews to the opposite side of the celestial equator. E.g. -0° 27' becomes +0° 27'.

I could confirm this with three stars in Pisces: 12, 13, and 14 Piscium. For the first two, the mount goes to the opposite side of the equator, for the last one it goes to the star correctly. Even plate solving cannot fix this, obviously.

I noticed this first on the ASIAIR with Jupiter this week:

Then directly in SkySafari 6:

And in SkySafari 7, I can use the native INDI driver of the mount and everything is OK:

StarGO2 and ASIAIR still have communication issues, so only the SS INDI driver can be used and keeps showing this issue for Jupiter, M2 and a few other objects close to and just below the equator.

I posted the same question on the INDILIB forum:

In the indilib forum, somebody confirmed this bug and looked into the origin of this issue. Apparently, this bug was fixed in the Indilib version 1.9.5. The StarGO2 is still running version 1.8.9.... which starts to get old anyway.

@Avalon, please, update the INDI library including the SkySafari drivers on the StarGO2. This driver is used by ANY mobile device (including the ASIAIR) connecting to the StarGO2 via port 9624!

More importantly, it has actually nothing to do with SkySafari, because it only depends on which port you are using to connect to the mount. The StarGO2 "only" offers and provides the SkySafari driver on port 9624, even when you choose the LX200 Basic protocol on your mobile device.
