Question Merlino error

i get this warning in the events viewer - Application 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Avalon\MerlinoN\MerlinoN.exe' (pid 11144) cannot be restarted - Application SID does not match Conductor SID. and once that happens, the merlino app freezes, the stargo app freezes including the driver (the mount can't be controlled anymore), and nothing works anymore. the only option is to reboot merlino's computer.

any advice on how to fix this? pretty dangerous to have this happening and then starts to rain.

Hello

It seems to be something related with lack of permissions on Windows or corrupted files.

Please read this article:
makethatpc.com/application-sid-does-not-match-conductor-sid/

If the article cannot help you to fix the issue, please send us the log file that you can find at the following path:
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\MerlinoN\log.txt

Afterwards it may help you to uninstall and reinstall the Merlino Installer.

In case you only have the .exe, we will provide you the full installer.

i saw that article, there's nothing to take ownership of. you also sent me the installer, i've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.

In the Merlino Windows the recovery tool is enabled, so we strongly suggest to roll back to a previous recovery point and check if the problem will be solved.

It may be that the reason of the issue comes from one of the last update or software/driver installation.
