Question M Zero - how to force Meridian flip (next Goto) + APT

Hello,
when changing from C8 to a Esprit ED 100 without changing the mounts brackets a meridian flip is (sometimes) necessary -
after activating "force meridian flip" (StarGo) the mount doesnt do that with the next goto....
I am using APT but actually without automated meridian flip (AMF). So the problems cant be caused by APT.
APT and StarGo are both connected to the mount.
Any ideas?

Hi Peter,

I was wondering the same thing when using my RC. To get the mount to continuously stay on the desired side of the meridian after the first meridian flip, you have to check "Disable Meridian Flip" after the first goto. So, first check "Force Meridian flip," let the mount flip, then check "Disable Meridian flip." This will keep the scope where you want it to be for each subsequent goto, until you close down StarGO. Page 29 of the StarGO manual explains this.
