Hi Stefano

I chance the rate to 1 per second, but it doesent solved the problem. I became the same error in skysafari.

Maybe it helpful when i send you me settings in the StarGo? See here the Screeenshot: www.dropbox.com/s/c0rer9v5ry1l97w/Avalon_Settings.jpg?dl=0

If you can't find a malfunction, I guess I'll have to send you the StarGo.

While i write this message, i want to do a second test and no i cant connect to the wifi. When i press on the StarGo Wifi, it comes the message "conecting" and after 2-3 seconds, i connect automatic to my home network. I try this 3 times, and it doesent work. I cant connect to the Stargo Wifi. But 5 minutes before, it works. Maybe its better when i send you the StarGo. Can you tell me the adress where i can send it?

Thank you.

Replied by Stefano82 on topic M-Zero HQ - Problems with the wifi connection
The test on the StarGo Wi-Fi Board sent at the company reported the following behaviour:

BEFORE THE STARGO BOARD FACTORY RESET

It was found the “StarGO-WIFI” as a network name, “password1234” as a password.

The connection via Wi-Fi with a LG5 smartphone was quick and smooth.

Then it was attempted a connection to the scope with SkySafari 5 Plus. Every connection attempt failed.
Then it was tested with a ChuWi Hi8 tablet/mini pc. The Wi-Fi connection was quick and smooth, also the connection with SkySafari was quick and smooth.

At this point it was tested again with the LG5 smartphone to try to understand what could prevent the connection with SkySafari.

It was searched some application that could conflict with SkySafari application, disabling some among the suspected, one by one, testing the connection after each app remotion/disabling.

After the removal of a children car seat control application that use in background the GPS info from the smartphone, the connection with SkySafari was quick and quite reliable.

After testing with mobile devices it has been performed some tests with an ASUS Laptop with Win10 Professional O.S.

The Wi-Fi connection was quick and smooth. Also the Wi-Fi connection between the StarGo Board and the StarGo software didn’t notice any issue.

After the connecion established it was left the StarGo in tracking mode. The connection crashed after 2 hours.
The second connection established crashed after 2 hours
The third connection established duration was over 4 hours.

AFTER THE STARGO BOARD FACTORY RESET

After these tests it was performed a factory reset on the StarGo board.

After the factory reset the connection via wi-fi between the StarGo board and the LG5 smartphone was quick and smooth.

Also the connection between the between the mount and SkySafari was quick and smooth.

With a LG5 smarphone, after the connecion has been established it was left the StarGo in tracking mode with SkySafari. The connection established duration was over 4 hours.

With an ASUS Laptop with Win10 Professional O.S. after the connecion established it was left the StarGo in tracking mode with StarGo.exe and Carte du Ciel. The connection established duration was over 4 hours.

CONCLUSIONS

The tests noticed that the StarGo board hadn’t wi-fi connection issues with the devices used for our tests.
However it was noticed that some application may conflicts with the interaction between SkySafari and the Stargo.
Also the StarGo connection duration seems to be improved.
