StarGo with HS motor for Losmandy G11 was not working was created by NGC
I bought the StarGo HS for Losmandy G11 shortly after it was released. It's been almost two years and I hadn't used it for a while because it didn't work well at all. The installation of the mechanical part is perfectly fine.
To list the things that don't work, I have the following symptoms.
First of all, when I make it memorize the Park position in the settings and then select an alignment star to start it, it moves towards the west even though the star is in the east, it moves towards the west.
At any rate, when I look at the star through the telescope, the tracking speed is not driving in stellar time at all. Maybe the gears are not set correctly. By the way, G11 has 360 teeth and StarGo is currently set at 720.720.
The software, Install_StarGo_566_Beta.exe and Install StarGo_446_NET.exe, both have the same symptoms.
What's wrong?
Also, if there is new firmware, where can I download it from?

Before to start the session did you perform the Sync Home Position as shown in the following tutorial? (even if the tutorial has been made with an M-zero, the procedure is the same for any mount controlled by the StarGo)

It is also important to set the correct Observatory Location in the ALIGN panel that should match with the settings of the planetary software used.
Wich is your workflow to set the Park Position? The correct procedure is:
- Choose the position where the mount should be parked and click on the “Set Park” button.
- At the end of the session click on the “Park” button. In this way the mount will slew to the selected park position and, in the next mount usage, the mount will remember the Home Position synced.

If you are using a G11 mount with the StarGo HS motor kit you should select the Losmandy_HS.mcf file.

I have it set up as you have indicated, but it doesn't work well at all.
The gear ratio setting for the HS version is set at 720.720. Are you sure that this value is correct?

After My Note PC was done to update Windows10 last weekend, StarGO system can not run out when I push connecting icon. Thus I can not test my G11 with StarGO HS motor system now.

Let us know if by installing the latest StarGo version the software run in the proper way.
The 720.720 gear ratio for a Losmandy G11 is correct. However we are available for a desktop remote session. In this way, watching the pc desktop and with the help of a webcam that can let us watch the mount and the mount movement, we can better understand how to help you to fix the issue.

I installed the latest STARGO that you gave me and it appears to be working fine. However, it is unclear whether it was installed correctly because the virus check software warned me when I installed it.
StarGO Ver.6.3.4 (old 3.1.57)
Firm Ver.5.6.6(old 5.6.6)
ASCOM Driver Ver.6.8.4.2 (old 6.8.1.59)
Connect mount type 720.720

In the meantime, StarGO was able to start. Loader started immediately, and when it reached 100%, I saved it.
As a planetarium software, I use HKSky. I want to use Project Pluto The Guide Ver.9.1 really, but ASCOM of StarGO does not appear and the software falls down.
I haven't tried it in the real sky yet, so I haven't been able to verify how to make it work correctly. There is a typhoon in the sky right now and the weather is bad.
Now, this new StarGO has a much different interface, so I'm not sure where the new manual is, but I don't know where the new software is or where to find it right away.
