Solved Connect ZWO Asiair to Avalon Linear (Stargo)

At most sites I travel to I don’t have an internet connection so Ekos Live would not work me. I think I will simply buy the Stellarmate software for $ 49 and install it on my Asiair to figure out the possibilities and limitations of the Stellarmate app.

I understand that Stellarmate software includes EKOS installed on the RPi. If you run EKOS on the RPi you could control it from a tablet using VNC.

The mobile app (which is a Beta version) is unfortunately not stable enough to use for production. While Ekos can be used thru VNC its rather challenging to use it with a tablet. Will do some more testing and than decide if i will give it a try in the field.

I inform you that today I have tested the last beta version of ASIAir Pro software received by ZWO and it worked perfectly. Thanks to the collaboration between Avalon Instruments and ZWO, finally StarGO operated mounts can work with the ASIair. The test has been performed using an Android Tablet. I'm waiting from ZWO to receive the SW beta version for iOS but I'm very confident it will work. I will keep you informed on the testing results. In attachment there is a picture of the test equipment used (M-zero with StarGO, ASIAir Pro, ASI cameras - All equipment is powered by the ASIAir internal power hub).

So which version of the ASIAir software will this be? My current version as of April 30 is 1.4.3 (5.05).
