Hi Daan,
I use INDI to control my M-Uno and contributed to the driver development along with Wolfgang and others.
You should just connect with a normal USB cable. The trick is getting the right serial port number, especially if you have multiple serial devices.
Normally the driver can work it out but you may need to set it manually. I'm not sure what functionality the ASIair provides. But try to follow the advice in the link provided by Christopher. You may need to Scan Ports and select it manually.
Also, the driver does not provide some initial configuration functions so you might need to do an initial setup under Windows.

problem is solved :-)
In the telescope settings there is a pulldown menu in which you can select next to the "Avalon Stargo" mount also the mount "Avalon Legacy". If I select the latter it will indeed connect to my mount (USB A to USB B cable). If I select Avalon Stargo the ASI Air app crashes (freezes and closes down after some time).
I could not find any info about this in the manual nor in the ZWO forum. I'm using the Linear Stargo Bluetooth version. I guess the bluetooth version is being considered as legacy....

to all: thanks for replying :-)

Hi Daan,
I'm afraid that's not a sustainable solution. The Avalon Legacy driver is a very simple LX200 implementation, while the Avalon StarGO driver is far more StarGO specific.

If you provide the log files, I could take a closer look why the driver crashes.

Hi Wolfgang,
So the quest continues....:-)
Access to log files is not listed in the manual so I have to check with ZWO if a user has access to the log files. Most likely not because it looks user access to the ASI Air is limited to downloading images and the guiding log files....
